Waterdrops, Kyneton Botanical Gardens

Greg December 14, 2014 4 Comments

Yesterdays photo showed a leafy Kyneton Botanical Gardens. As a postscript, it makes sense to see one of those leaves lying on the ground. Water drops such as these, which can remain on a fallen leaf all day, remind me of one thing.

I hate summer.

The night is just like the day. Except you can’t see.

Maybe we could see a post dedicated to "the leaves in your life"? 🙂 It could be filled with leaves (often accompanied by water) pics from your various escapades. I can see a nice series of leaf pics on the wall. Actually, your Daylesford Lake post has plenty of lovely ones. I like the way the dark background frames this one. Yep, I'm heading south or overseas eventually to escape the summer heat. Have never acclimatised to it in Queensland! Urgh.

The one thought that gets me through a Melbourne summer: it's worse in Brisbane.
    Nice pic Greg : )

I do keep an eye out for leaves, especially if there's water around, as I'll be guaranteed water drops! Not to mention drops on the end of branches etc. Summer? No idea what the love of it is. Okay if on holidays, but otherwise it's just a bit of drudgery.

Haha… I was always told to compare a bad thing to something worse, so then it's not too bad 🙂 Yes, I spent a couple of years in Townsville and found it horrific. Absolutely no rush to head back to Queensland when it's hot 🙂
