I’ve been down to this spot three times now. On each occasion, at last light, I’ve been elbow to elbow, jockeying for position with other photographers. I don’t think I’ve ever been to an urban place where so many people are wielding cameras.
The result? I’m not going back, as I don’t think I can do any better than this picture. Then again, the curse of being a camera wanker is never being satisfied with an image. I’ve already had a voice in my mind say, ‘what if you have the tripod a little lower? What would it look like then? Mm…
Nailed it, Greg, Nailed it…. 🙂
Thanks Paul. Phew! 🙂
I'd be happy with that!
Definitely one to hang on the wall, on put on the cover of your Fiasco calendar or maybe a tourist campaign perhaps? You know it's perfect, but if you change your mind and want to jostle with some more photographers, go ahead. It may mean we get to see it again. 🙂
One day I'll print some of these photos into wall sized offerings and see what they look like away from the confines of a computer screen. One day!
So am I! For the time being 🙂
Picture perfect in my view I must visit that spot when I am next in the area.
Thanks Roger. It's an interesting spot. Take your camera down and join in with the handful of others at sunset 🙂
